Our Paris Flytographer Experience

So excited to share our experience using Flytographer in Paris! Traveling as a couple can be tricky when it comes to taking photos. Most of the time, you end up with lots of solo shots or have to awkwardly ask strangers if they are willing to take your photo. As someone who is obsessed with photos, I love the idea of getting pictures taken when traveling! What better way to capture your memories than having pictures to look back at years later!

I had heard about Flytographer before from other bloggers and our friends actually used them on their recent trip to Italy and had a great experience! Flytographer is basically a service that connects you to local photographers from wherever you are traveling! You can view each photographers profile, see other shoots they’ve done, pick your preferred route and from there request to book! The process was super easy and they provide you with a Flytographer concierge to answer any questions you might have along the way.

We decided to do a 60 minute sunrise shoot (8:30-9:30am) and chose the Trocadero for our route. If you’ve ever seen portraits taken in Paris you’ve probably seen the Trocadero area. It has the famous stairs with the Eiffel Tower in the background (so pretty!!) Rachael our photographer was super nice and made us laugh throughout the entire shoot, getting us to relax and just have fun while she snapped away!

When it came to figuring out what to wear, I knew I wanted it to be dressy (when else do you have the opportunity to dress up in Paris & get your pictures taken) but not over the top. Pleated skirts are so in right now, and I thought it was the perfect piece!
